Israel Policy Forum Announces its Next Chapter with Middle East Progress

Dear Friends and Supporters of Israel Policy Forum:

On behalf of Israel Policy Forum (IPF), including our President Peter Joseph and Chair Larry Zicklin, I am pleased to inform you that IPF is embarking on its next chapter.

Secretary of State Clinton Cautions Netanyahu Government

"Progress on establishing a Palestinian state must go "hand-in-hand" with efforts to stem Iranian influence in the Middle East, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said yesterday, implicitly rejecting the emerging position of the new Israeli government," Glen Kessler wrote in the Washington Post today.

Speaking before a panel of the House Appropriations Committee, Clinton "cautioned that Israel was unlikely to gain support for thwarting Iran unless there were visible efforts to achieve Palestinian statehood."

According to Daniel Dombey of the Financial Times,

Hillary Clinton also "broke with previous US policy yesterday and proclaimed Washington's support for a Palestinian government backed by Hamas - as long as it met international demands."
